WLP creates films in multiple languages about current women’s right topics that are used in its workshops and online training, and by other community-based organizations in their programming.

Human Rights: The Unfinished Journey chronicles the history of the human rights movement and explores the need for a holistic understanding of universal human rights. It presents a compelling case on why human rights should be placed at the center of national and international policy making.

 

Because Our Cause is Just (2013)

In 2013, WLP released our documentary, Because Our Cause Is Just, on the backlash against women's rights in the Middle East/North Africa region during the period of political transition during surrounding the "Arab Spring."

 

From Fear to Freedom: Ending Violence Against Women (2012)

In WLP’s film, From Fear to Freedom: Ending Violence Against Women, leading experts and activists from across the globe discuss the root causes of gender-based violence, share strategies to combat it, and provide inspiring accounts of the important milestones already achieved through the international women’s movement.
